WOOOHOOO! I have 4 image credits in a new book...Long Island Lighthouses: Past & Present. Today it got a 3/4 page write up in the local paper & is also going to be written up in the NY Times!

Thats to cool my mom loves light houses, I think they are neat too!
So tell us how many color pictures are in it and how to order one?

All the pics in the book are in B&W, but the image for Fire Island is available...here it is framed. I just had these done for 2 shows I have this weekend since I'll be selling the book too & this is our most local lighthouse. It's on my website & orderable there up to 11x14 right now.

Great news - congrats!
It's nice to see that someone has an interest in lighthouses. I know there are a few of them on Long Island. We even have one here where I live close to Port Credit in Ontario. I am also from Norway so used to seeing them quite often. I always thought it would be nice to have a job in a lighthouse but those jobs are now far and few between (if any). |

Thank you all for the kind words. I'm very excited about all of it. Several things are in the works at the same time right now...some of which I can't say anything about just yet. I'll keep you posted as they happen. I'm hoping it all leads to the beginings of having some name recognition associated with my lighthouse photography & restoration work. Tough competition for that around here with the photography....there are already several local celebs in that area. Maybe the restoration work & tile murals I do will give me an edge :o)
