So I managed to save an auto-retouch step to remove hot pixels. I also managed to get to run it on NEF as well as JPEG files as a batch process.

My question is: Is it possible to change the default settings so every time an image loads, this retouch is applied automatically without me having to push any button (just like LightRoom) ?

Does LightRoom 2.2 allow layer manipulation?
