Well, I tried to take a pic of some wonderful Tulips today. Apart from the obvious distractions top left and right, anyone care to comment?

Feels like the focus is way off here. Maybe just way to much light or you fixed it in photoshop and brightened up to much.
The great angle of the flowers makes for a nice composition. Try using a tripod that may help with the blur.

The blown out sky definitely hinders this shot. Over exposed or over processed. Aside from reshooting, cropping most of it out gets a more interestng angle...

oops, thanks for the comments but, I (stupidly) uploaded a messed around with image. This is the orig without any editing, just resising to 640.
doh!

Same thoughts...but these flowers look better ;)
The cropping did give a cool angle...makes you focus more on the greens. Gonna have to try that!
Any way to get a couple of more flowers to cover that sky piece that's left in the bottom & reshoot? The flowers would totally become the background & get rid of the bright spot... and add to the perspective I think.
