Hi All,

I have decided I need / want a light meter.

Can anyone recommend one thats between £100-£200

Sekonic Flashmate is one option.

cheers.......whats the diff with that and the flash master....i get lost in the jargon

I own this Sekonic. But, this is too much for the average photographer. I use this for every aspect of my photographic journeys from still to motion.

This Seckonic is a good choice for flash, as well as incidental readings.

My friend, and sometimes boss, uses this Gossen meter.


This Gossen meter may be about what you need.

I have the Sekonic L-358, it's entirely capable.

Minolta makes excellent meters as well, I used to use the Flashmeter IV when I was working.
