I attended a "Women of Faith" Christian conference this weekend. One of our speakers was the designer "Laurie" from the tv show "Trading Spaces." We also heard recording artists Cece Winans (she sure can sing!) and Kathy Triccoli.
These are all hand held at maximum zoom, so quality isn't what I'd prefer, but I thought they turned out decently considering the conditions in the arena.

Wow! These are great shots. The only motion blur I see in these shots is from the movement of the subjects, which adds to drama of the shots. The exposure and colour saturation is bang on in my opinion. Nice.
