Shot with a new model today. My first male only (rather than couple or female) photoshoot.
I'm mainly looking for comments on poses, composition and exposure.

In order of preference....#1, #5, #4, #2, #3. I like the poses in #'s 1 & 5. I especially like the look of the B&W in #5. 1, 5, & 4 look more natural & not so "posed". for whatever reason #3 looks like he is deformed or misproportioned. I think it is the way he is standing, but the crop of the picture doesn't allow to see that. If you cropped at the waist, that would improve that shot I believe. The lighting on all seem to be very good. The only thing I see is that maybe they were over sharpened? I am not sure what that is. All in all very nice shots. However, I am a newbie so I may not know what I am talking about. Congrats on your new model. |

I really like the 4th one. As for the poses & such, while I am by no means an expert, they seem to be too contrived. More natural poses may work better, IMO
