I intend to shoot diorama/miniature photography, primarily consisting out of 1:12 scale dollhouse miniatures mostly inside of a 14 inch long by 9 inch tall diorama display box. Some inside of 8.5 Inch long by 8 inch tall diorama display box.

I have shot diorama/miniatures with my Canon EOS 5D using a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens. These were shoot in a 8.5 Inch long by 8 inch tall diorama display box. Resulting with great photos.

I am going to buy and shoot with a Canon EOS 5d Mark 2 camera. That camera would be good for this right? Still shoot with a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM lens, though it is going to be a bigger diorama display box to photograph? Any other better lens to get instead?

Many thanks to those that participate!

The 100 macro is still a top-notch lens. It should go just as well with the MkII as it does with the Mk1.
