I put this in the Merry Christmas post but I think it deserves its own post because everyone needs a blessing at Christmas time. Its nice to wish each other a Merry Christmas in a casual way but it is also important to remember that even bad people need a blessing to.
Someone burglarized our apartment and stole some presents that were meant for me that my husband had in his closet.
They were little fun things and nothing like diamonds and pearls gratefully and worse things can and do happen. It as just a little crafted snowman I wanted and a cute teddy bear and just some sweet things I pointed out over the last few months that I would like.
I cried because someone would have such a heart or no heart to do that then the presents being gone. But to the burglar I say Merry Christmas and God Bless You because he or she felt they needed them more. Maybe they had no money. But I send them blessings anyway because I think they need it.
For everyone else I send my Merry Christmas to you and a Happy New Year. If you dont celebrate Christmas then just have a very nice day.
Agnes
They also took an old cracked wedding ring my husband had that was laying on top of his bookcase with a photo book. The only value was sentimental but sometimes that is the most priceless.
Then a few months ago around my birthday I was doing the every two week ammonia cleaning I do of our home and had taken off my own wedding ring and put it where I do every time which is on the table in the living room next to the sofa to keep it out of harms way. The cable guy came by to fix our DVR while I was still cleaning. He was acting weird so I went upstairs to get my husband. My husband came down and the cable guy finished his business and left but there was something about him I didnt like. Later that day when I was done cleaning I found my own wedding ring gone. No one else had access to it and we left the cable guy alone right near my ring when I went to get my husband. I knew it would be his word against mine so I didnt file any reports.
I have not replaced my wedding ring but it doesnt mean we arent married. Hahahaha. It was just a "thing" and a symbol of our love. It was sentimental but not very valuable in other ways. We will replace it when I feel better about doing it. My husband said that maybe I should just get a tattoo of one. Hahahah. At least that wont get stolen.
Some people just have mean hearts or need some kind of sick thrill but they all and always need our blessings. Remember to bless those that are not so kind at this time of year to please?
Thanks from Agnes

What a shame those thieves won't read this. It might make them think...
Merry Christmas! :)
(Btw, I think you should have contacted the cable co. anyway. They may have had other reports about this guy but need a preponderance of evidence, circumstantial or not, to do something about it. After all, if 20 people complain about thefts and only one guy had been at those 20 homes they won't need to catch him red-handed.) |

You have a sterling heart and soul, Agnes.
It makes me feel good to know there are people out there like you.
It restores my faith in the goodness of humanity.
The best and most loving wishes for Christmas peace and joy to you and yours.

Christmas is a time of forgiveness. As soon as the holidays are over, PM me the location of the cable guy's village. >:)
God bless you, Agnes, and your husband also. I wish you peace, joy and good fortune in the coming year. And some new locks under your tree. :) |

Call the cable company and tell them something he did didn't work right and see if he comes back to fix it. Then set him up on camera. You can forgive him and bless him after you catch him with his hand in the cookie jar and possibly get your ring back.

Oooo my goodness. Hahaah. That is cruel! Hahahha. I thought about reporting him but we will need a cable guy in the future eventually. When I do call I am going to tell them not to send me the same guy and why and then they will know. |

Sorry for you losses. I would report the cable guy anyway, this might keep other people from having the same bad experience. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and New Year, you deserve it. |
