Opinions on this Botera collapsible backdop as a portable studio for someone who mainly does headshots and an occasional portrait? I'm thinking with the chromakey color, I can make the background either a pure color for headshots, or even edit in in a muslin pattern.
Anyone have one of these? General comments? |

I have not used one, but it sure looks plausible. The tension of the framing should pull out any wrinkles on the framed portion, but I would be concerned that the bottom part that lays outwards from the frame could become very wrinkled. Of course if you go with the chroma color it wont matter as you'll be masking in another background

I think having to edit in different background might drive you crazy. I have never used a green screen before, but it seems to me you might do better with a white one. That way, depending how you light it, it can be white or dark gray. You might want to read over the reviews. One of them mentions that the frame may not take out all the wrinkles.
Good luck!
Claire

If it's just for head shots, how about something like the following which would also be useful for other purposes.

If you do go with this, check out this listing on eBay - you can get two of them, one black/white reversible and one chroma green/blue reversible for slightly more than the cost of the one on B&H
