Yes, that's true. I had an account once, and my percentage of shots accepted was below detection so I closed it out of embarrassment. I don't think I'm allowed to go back. :( |

Yeah, somehow I got lucky enough to be a "screener's choice," so my shot's been on their home page for a couple of days. Certainly results in more views!
What cracks me up is that the shot is fun, but far from what I consider my best work. Whereas much better shots have been rejected, usually very quickly. I can't figure out what they're looking for, so I submit a more or less random assortment of stuff I've taken for other reasons (mostly for DPC challenges).
Anway, here's my profile, such as it is.
Amy, I think you're normal in having a small percentage approved. Other than the superhuman  Ursula, of course. :)

Jeff, it's quirky, shouts for attention, grabs the viewer by the eyeballs and gives him a shake. Exactly the kind of shot sites want on their homepage :) |

| Here is mine. I've had a bunch of my submissions rejected, but I've also had a couple on the front page under "popular today" so I can't complain. It's a very different community, but there sure is some stunning work to be found there when you start digging. |

If it makes you feel better I have yet to get a photo accepted over there as well. Apparently I keep fouling up their "filter of lameness" and it spits me back out... |

| I have one of my fireworks photos there. It was photo of the day, or week, a year ago at New Year. Then I generally forget about the site... ;-) |
