"Friend whore??" on the photog site...Oh now i get it...haha. yeah I've been doing that, but i found it as a way to contact many many publications now more than models. All the ones with model sites are professional beyond my experience level or you can't tell they are models because their page is nothing but polaroid shots.
I haven't tried using Linked In....i've been friended on that site but i just don't get the benefit of it. Maybe when it gets bigger i'll start using it. |

I'm on LinkedIn, but for my 'real' job ... never thought of it as a way to network with other photographers or find models ... I figured MM, MySpace and FaceBook were the way to go for that ... |

I have a myspace that I never use and can't even remember how to log into. I've never done Facebook, but have been asked to join. Linked In has actually gotten me connected to LOTS of people, but I, too, have only used it thus far for my 'real' job. They also have groups.
How do you all find time to be members for all of these different groups? I'm only home about 4 hours a day when I'm not sleeping or working!!!!!!! |

I'm a part of a few 'groups' on LinkedIn, but don't participate on a regular basis ... I have some things sent to me via email and only respond if it directly relates to me or my job. I've found LinkedIn to be a great tool to keep in contact with folks from previous jobs, etc ... I've also had quite a few recruiters contact me with employment opportunities |
