I am reading in the Advanced Editing and Basic Editing rules that you can use any feature of a camera with the exception of combining multiple captures in camera. Does this exclude multiple exposures? My D300 has both features, I can combine multiple captures to create one image or I can create one capture using multiple exposures. The meat of my question pertains to using a multiple exposure to get the moon within the frame of my main subject. This would be done via multiple exposure rather than combining multiple captures. What do you think?

I believe the ruling is that you can only use one shutter actuation (ie shutter cannot close for a time, reopen later for the purposes of the shot)

I am sure one of the Site Council can clarify this for you........
