Anyone here ever play The 7th Guest? Ya, ya I know it's old, but it's SO good. Apparently there are patches that will run it in Windows XP, but I can't seem to get it to work. The puzzles and goodies could keep you busy for hours. Great brain food.
I found a site with a patch that's a torrent (wth), but I don't know what to do with it!! :P
Has anyone played this game and better yet, has anyone ever gotten it to work on a recent Windows system??? |

lol I used to love that game when it came out, havent played it for years though, I prob still have an original CD here somewhere...
Ill keep my eye out for a patch for ya though...

That's the dang problem...patches are old...they work for some on XP, not for others. I can get it to install and ALMOST boot, but then Windows gives me "Error reading RL file". I don't even know what that means, lol!
I saw a website from the UK now selling an XP version. Hmmmm....just ticked that it actually has run on this pc before....but guessing all of the damn Windows updates has messed something up! GRRRRR....I wanna play and I want my game and patch to work!!
I need a computer whiz's help, please!!!!! :)
