I find stuff like this interesting. There have been 40 8+ shots in the history of DPC. 2008 has produced only 2 of them. (although we may have one or more in the Master's challenge)

and they both are red :P

PS: we will be losing 8+ altogether soon... it's getting pretty crowded here and I think its related to low votes (scores)

Top 5 Highest rated shots by year up to 2007 I made this a while back, if you want to take a look.
2003 and 2006 also only had 2 8+ scores, so this year is not too much out of the ordinary.
