Buying some lights mainly for portraiture thinking of using these or Jessops any recomendations? what do you use? what watt would be enough?

Your link just goes to Calumet's front page, so I have no idea what specific product you're considering.
I use Speedotron Brownline strobes, I have 2 1600 Ws power packs and 6 heads, grids, a 36" shoot thru umbrella, a 48" white/silver/gold umbrella, a 60" softbox, stands, meter, etc |
