... for about 2 years I have wanted a decent DSLR, after entering DPC competitions with my (to be honest) quite crappy and mediocore Vivitar camera, I finally have a Canon 450d. My loved ones all clubbed together to buy me it... and it's barely been out of my hands since Saturday (which was my birthday).
I just wanted to share this with people who KNOW just how much it means to get the camera you've never been able to afford.... finally.
It's been a hell of a year for me, so this means the world :) |

I remember the feeling from 3 months ago. You will fall in love with it.
I love the live view esp. since it lets me see how good I am at manual focussing. |

I do admit to feeling a little out of my depth.... but at the same time, I'm learning how to use it at a fast pace. My manual looks like it's about ten years old already!!!

| Congrats! I do remember that feeling--and the feelings from acquiring each lens along the way, leveraging my way up to better stuff. Have a wonderful time with it! |

Cameras come with a manual? Dang, I think I just discovered my problem! ;)
