Anyone have a good free program that is easy to use, and works consistently to burn data dvds? I'm doing some back up this weekend and I don't like the program I use.

Also, anyone recommend a avi to dvd program?

You forgot to say which operating system you use. I'm going to assume Windows. For burning DVD's I use ImgBurn. Its not open source, but its free and works really well. //www.imgburn.com/

There's free softare called avi2dvd that I have not used much but should do what you want.
