The StoryCorps oral history project is promoting a National Day of Listening, when people record an interview with a family member or other person important in their life. They are suggesting setting aside an hour on the Friday after Thanksgiving, when families are likely to still be gathered and the turker torpor will have had some time to wear off ... :-)
