Howdy,
my laptop is old... 1.3ghz but with 2gb of ram. Does anyone have an old one lying around with a bit more processing power that I could use my ram with? Screen size is a kind of priority- mine now is 15" which i think is totally alright.
This might be a longshot but its always worth a try :)
Cheers. |

| What kind of Ram is it/ what model laptop do you have? Are you looking to use your current ram in a new system? How much are you willing to pay? I might be willing to sell if it fits the bill! |

Whether or not you can use your RAM shouldn't be too much of a concern given the current cost of it.
Newegg RAM prices
RAM compatibility check
ETA additional clarity to links

i have a dell inspiron 1300, which i retrofitted 2gb of ram into. I can take the ram out and use it in another model no probs, just looming to see if there is a faster processor out there with possibly a sharper screen and XP.
There is nothing techncially wrong with my laptop, i would just like something with a faster processor so I could upgrade quite conmfortably to CS4. |

I've got a Sony Vaio with a 1.73 dual core processor. Only 1 gb ram, and I don't think yours'll be compatible. I'm running Cs4 on it at the mo and it works a charm, much faster than cs3.
Also I have "the processor hog" Vista. Not good. Looking to upgrade soon (when I get a bit of money in) to a desktop with about twice the power. And hopefully not Vista. |
