I have seen photographers place 4 different photos on one background, like a series... I am afraid of stretching photos...

In photoshop make one huge blank picture .........copy and paste the four photos on......they should appear as layers you can arrange........take the layers flatten...then resize the picture to the size you want...that is one way to do it...

Thanks, so do I need to size the white background to a particular size?? Or it doesnt matter

just make it big enough that the four pictures will fit. it dosen't matter if it is way to big because you can always crop it.

One other thing to note that will make sizing easier is to make sure all of the photos that you are copying and pasting onto the new background have the same dpi.

They should have the same dpi, these are photos from my latest photoshoot, if not I can just change it right?? Say 240 to 300 dpi

Changing it is no problem. I just mention it as I know I have had to deal with it in the past. When you are editting and cropping pictures, I find that sometimes the dpi did not end up the same on all of the shots that I processed until I changed it. That just might be because of the settings in my software, though as I don't use Photoshop.

Also if you want the photos evenly spaced, I suggest you turn on the grid and use snap to grid feature when placing the shots on the new background.
