I'm trying to make an electronic form for my daughter's Girl Scout Troop using Adobe Acrobat and LiveCycle Design CS3. I'm having a problem though...I have two text fields (I have more than that, but these two are the ones I'm having issues with) that are the same information. How do I make the information from one field automatically show up in the other one without having the person filling in the first field have to do anything? |

I don't know anything about LiveCycle, but with versions of Acrobat I'm familiar with, if the two text blocks have exactly the same name, filling in one should duplicate the info in the other box.
Try creating the first field, then select it and duplicate it; drag the copy to the new location.
To make similarly-formatted fields with different info, do the above, but then double-click the copied field and change its name/properties as appropriate. |

Thanks, but that doesn't seem to work. *sigh*
I actually have Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.1.3. To edit forms it automatically opens Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.05.2073.1.374024.
I've never really done much with making forms before.
Thanks for the try. |

Nevermind. You had the right idea, I just had to go in and "data bind" the field names. Thanks. |
