Canon 300d owners,(D10?) I was at Walmart this weekend,(picking up MORE pampers which I must say never pack enough, anyway) I stopped by the electronic dept. looking for cd-rw's when I saw a battery that looked like the same one for my 300d. It said it fit the D10 and it was on clearance for $15.00 so I decided to pick it up and give it a try. I ran the battery all day Sunday taking about 200 shot with no problem and it still has a 50% charge to it. It looks to be a great second battery with is a plus since I just bought my battery grip. If your interested the battery is a Digital Concept model CB-511. And like I said earlier it was only $15.00. Just thought I share.

The BP-511 battery used in the 300D/10D/etc. is one of Canon's most popular batteries. It is also used in a large number of their camcorders. It is another benefit of owning of those cameras -- cheap, readily-available third-party batteries!

I'll have to keep an eye out for those here at Canadian Walmarts. Thanks.

Unfortunately, they don't have those up on the walmart website.

You don't have to go to Walmart to get third party BP-511 replacements. You can get them even cheaper than $15 on Ebay. I have purchased 4 from 3 different sellers. All are rated higher than the 1100 mAh Canon original, and thus last longer in your camera.

HEY! By shopping EBAY you are going to put Walmart out of business and ruin big town America! Shame on you for wanting a lower price. Greedy $@&#&!

Note to people that take things to seriously, I'm just kidding.

I just bought a compact flash for $56.00 at walmart and they sell it at B&H for $79.00. I got a deal. Plus did'nt have to pay shipping. I got to eat lunch out today. :-)
