I just joined the big boys with my first "real" camera. If I put a copyright message in the Image Comment field, does it show up on the photo? (Not that I think my photos are worthy of stealing at this point) Other than being in the EXIF data field, where else would it show up? I've read the manual several times and can't figure it out. Thanks for the help.

Try it and see! :-)
After you've done that you may consider updating the camera in your profile. :-P
FWIW - The copyright sounds like an EXIF only item.

copyright shows up in exif data...
