At least the dems used their money on what mattered instead of buying 150K of clothes. It showed in the polls too. GG O!

Nope, that wasn't/isn't my intention.. but looking through those images just gave me a certain sense of something, I dunno, good is gonna happen. Too many people are dying on both sides and maybe its time to lay down guns and open channels of communication if at all possible, maybe I am seeing the world through rose coloured specs at the moment but surely that's not a bad thing. Atrocities have been carried out by all sides, both front-line and in the corridors of power.. I am not saying its time to forgive, no way, but maybe time to understand there will never be a `victory` in the truest sense of the word. In conventional war you can declare a victory when certain criteria have been met, maybe in this war the only victory can be a truce or an understanding. Bush (and a lot of other people) thought when Saddam was ousted that was a victory, nobody foresaw the bloodshed that was to follow.
Also, most people in Iraq could never ever accept ANYTHING that Bush could say or do, but Obama, well who knows, maybe even the Insurgents could sit up and listen and decide this could be the only chance of actually opening a communication with the West.
You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one.

What an awesome collection of Obama shots!
But all I can see in this one is the sensor dust and pushed levels, hehe.

Actually, they're accentuated because he's pointing at them, as if to say, "Clean your damn sensor, fool, I'm the President of the USA!

The casual group of shots has some very powerful images in it as well. I love the comments included from the photographer. If I chose a fave from that group...it might be the one of Barack and Michelle sitting together or the one with the holes in the soles of his shoes or the one doing pull ups, lol. The cover of Time Magazine had a brilliant image of the man.
