I was involved in an MS walk today and took a picture that I was requested to submit to the newpaper. I need to submit it today and need to know which format they would prefer. Does anyone have experience with this and what newspapers usually prefer?
The file is currently in .RAW format. |

Best thing to do is check with the newspaper. They may want a certain size also.

I would like to do that but it's a local newspaper and I won't be able to talk to anyone before it's too late. I believe they start working on the paper sometime after midnight today...
I may just take a chance and give them a full size .jpg file and hope they can resize it to their own requirement. |

| You can send them the jpeg and the Raw and let them pick. |

| If they were not willing to accept any format you send they could have specified a preference. Just send them the full size JPG, they may not have the software to convert a Canon CRW file. |

| They'll be happy with a .jpg. Newspapers typically only need 150 dpi, too. |

They aren't anything special - and it was very dark with a torrential downpour most of the time. But here they are...
