As a fun counter point to the Post Humous Master's Challenge.
I would like to offer up for consideration, the Brown Ribbon Revenge Challege.
Open only to holders of the elusive and rare brown ribbon, please post one image during the month. I may or may not be the sole judge. Depends on whom else I can get to lend their name to this effort. I will be checking to ensure that you are a true brown ribbon winner.
Entries close at midnight, dpchallenge time, November 30, 2008.
Good luck to all!

you need to get whiterook to help judge! Although, I am not sure if he has been entering challenges lately?
I cannot believe how many master challenges I qualify for now. I suddenly feel special :D |

I must be a total failure:( I don't qualify for this challenge, or the Posthumous challenge, nor the Masters Challenge for ribbon winners.
I'm gonna find a rock to crawl under! |

So, are you after a poor image or a great image? |

I definitely qualify for this challenge. I'm not sure what you want us to do -- take a really bad picture? -- take our best effort at a good picture? -- post our worst brown ribbon entry (I have multiple)? --- etc. Please explain further. |

Hmmm. A interesting idea, but I agree, with Juli, what is the objective? |

Interesting point...
Can a poor image be a great image?
Take your best shot, and even if it is poor, perhaps that poor shot is uniquely interesting!
But no, I'm not looking for a bunch of badly exposed, out of focus images. That would be really hard to judge. But a interesting take on a cliche image could be a winner. |

I only have one ribbon so I don't qualify for the Master's Challenge; Whiterook would not self-DQ when I had the chance to win the brown ribbon; and I can't even enter the no-ribbons at all challenge!
So, I guess I'll be making popcorn for everyone! ;-/
::sigh::

Aaaauuugh! Can't do this either...I was three from brown!
I'll serve beverages w/ Hihosilver's popcorn.
Now I can say that I'm a TOTAL loser, lol!
