I am a geocacher and someone has created a cache but in order to find the coordinates you have to figure them out from this photo. He has already given some of the numbers, so as far as I know there should be two 5 digit numbers hidden in this photo. I've tried everything in photoshop to alter the colours and it seems I can just barely make out a 3, 2 or 4 in some spots but not two 5 digit numbers. Can anyone figure it out? Thanks!

I can vaguely see numbers, but I can't tell what they are with any confidence. Sorry. |

If you alter the pic to negative, it looks like frogspawn. That's all I got.

Seriously, there's nothing there. Where did you get the photo from? Maybe there's something else there. Or, what wetland said. |

Oh, this one is fun. I see a pretty definite 500 in the lower right quadrant possibly preceded by a three with a space between. More numbers are almost there in the top part.
I didn't have the patience to really work hard on it, but what I did was rake the berries with lighting effects (spotlight in various permutations). Then use the Select tool and randomly jabbed at different colored berries. Then the 500 popped right out. Anyhow, may not be scientific, but it's a possible clue.

Nope - I'm color blind. Which maybe explains some of my photos' scores! |

nuh-uh
I grew up with a math professor for a dad, and I have a big brother that used to make me find patterns that weren't there. But, ah, eventually, there they were . Then what...?
It drives me crazy to this day.
I refuse to look at it more than the 10 minutes that I already did. LOL

The harder I look, the more convinced I am there's a 38 in the top right corner. Or maybe my eyes are confused from too long spent scrutinizing all that red. OP, you sure you're not just messing with our heads....?

Sorry to hijack the thread, but this reminded me that PsCS4 now includes proof setups for protanopia and deuteranopia (color-blindnesses). I've always wondered what it's like to be color-blind, and these give me (I assume) a good idea of what a color-blind person sees. It would be tough to deal with, to say the least! |

Have you tried looking at it like a "Magic Eye" picture? There could be something there, but this room is too bright and my eyes are too tired, so I can't tell for sure. |

Yeah, I think it's a Magic Eye picture......I just don't have time to stare at it cause I'm gonna be late for work! I'll try again when I get home if no one else has helped you yet :-)
Also, I do think a full size might make it a bit easier for the numbers to "pop out." |

You guys are funny!! Yes, I've tried looking at it as a "magic eye" photo, nothing. Like I said, I think I can see a 3 or a 2.
This is the original size. I can't send you the link because you have to be a paying member at geocaching.com to see this members-only geocache.
There is definitely something in the photo because that is the only clue to the coordinates. Oh, and they're partridgeberries, not cranberries.

yeah, I think they must be messing with you.
magic eye doesn't work. contrast adjustments do nothing.
good luck--let us know if you figure it out! |

It's so easy: 00°000N 00°000W. :-) But according to Google Earth that puts it right in the middle of the Gulf of Guinea, so I could be off by a few. |

Here's my shot...
52.977
53.185
Did not check those coords to see if they mean anything.
