Now those are just plain fun shots with the beach, clothing, the people, everything about it just is funds. The shots seem technically sound to me. Keep up the good work.

good work! now i'd be very interested to know your camera settings and lighting set up.
you did quite well with balancing the exposure between flash and available light, which i always find the hardest part when shooting outside with strobes.

Thanks for all the comments. Do you guys ever get the feeling of being rushed. It was like I was chasing the sun. So many things to remember!LOL
Thanks for the posing suggestions.
I posted the exposure settings on the pictures. I had two 30" Umbrellas with sb430's set at 1/2 on manual. One on camera left 45degrees and up 45. The second was just right of my camera and almost on axis with it and I think this one was set at an 1/8th to fill.
I was constantly lowering my shutter speed to give the ambient a boost while it was continuing to decrease. When the shutter was getting to low I would boost up the ISO and start over again. All while trying to explain how to focus and snap the shot to my Daughters friend Nick who by the way did a great job.
Thanks again,
Mike
