Was priviledged to participate in a backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon last week. Lugged my 300D in hopes to get a few good shots. Please critique, I think they need some better PS work or perhaps I need to invest in a better lens. I did take a small tripod but ended up not having to time to use it much.

How come you ddint dave the backpackers silhoette for the challege? THe last one is really nice as well. Great stuff!

Thanks Rooster, I took the photo two days before the challenge started. I did consider using one of the shots for the Strength challenge but figured I would get slammed for it.

That's too bad. It prolly would have done really well. You should put some up for prints!

Glad to see you enjoyed our little slice of heaven ! Last week was awesome @ Canyon due to storms passing through ,they really add the drama , drove me nuts to be @ work 7 days a week . Reall liked both Cottonwood sunsets & 3/4 Sky !

Thanks guys.
It was a spectacular week in The Ditch, we did feel fortunate with all of the rain, until a group got caught down Grapevine drainage during one of the large thunderstorms and had a flash flood. They emerged unhurt but quite shaken.
Now if I can figure out how to do the prints thing, I would like a couple for my wall.
