I was wondering if anyone else noticed any missing comments. I used to have 1,010 received comments, with 1000 of them marked as helpful. Current challenge comments have not changed and I have not deleted any pictures. However, my comment totals dropped.
now at;
# Received: 1,005
# Helpful: 996
Any ideas on what might have happened? I'm not that worried about, but just wondering if I missed something. Thanks. |

| This happened to me about 3 hours ago, my comments given and received went to 000... but it has fixed itself since.... perhaps the server is a bit slow today...I'm not good with computer stuff :P |

| Well, this is weirder. I lost comments given. I was at 3200 last night, I'm at 3184 this morning. Someone must have closed an account. |

I thought the comments stayed even when an account is closed. Although, I too have had comments disappear (not just one or two) so maybe when people leave the comments go with!
Maybe they just need to reup their membership! ;)
We can do a test...my membership expires end of month. I can't renew right now, but I know I've made comments on some of Kelly's shots. See if on Nov. 1 (next Saturday) you have lost comments from Friday. It will tell us if that could be the case. At such time that I can renew again, I'll give you advanced warning and let's see if the comments do come back (or if they ever go away). I wrote myself a note to remind me. |

Going from being a member to a registered user wont change anything. Your account will still be here and so will your photos, your portfolio just goes into hiding.

We are sort of hijacking this thread. I would like to know that if you go from member to registered user, then back to member, will your portfolio will be as it was before, or do you have to start all over to build a portfolio?
Re the OP, Look back in your comments received, and see if the ones from members no longer here are still there.

It will still be there, exactly as you left it. |

It's even still there if you have your account removed and come back a year later. |

I lost one about the same time as it was noticed that votes had disappeared, though the comment wasn't on a current challenge. I figured that someone had been booted, but then remembered that that didn't remove their past comments.
I'm not sure if any I made have disappeared because I don't ever remember that number. |

| The only reason I noticed was because my helpful comments was right at 1000. |
