My wife going on a trip in a few weeks and decided she wants to get a P&S camera to carry rather than the usual large bag with the 10D and assorted lenses. I read the reviews on the Canon G10 and told her that was the one she needed to get. Of course I had good reasons as I casually mentioned it, but I think she saw through me when she said "You just want me to get it so you can play with it." Of course I denied any such thing, although I did mumble something about I probably would try it out a little. :D

I know since they haven't been out very long that it's going to be close to full price, but has anyone noticed who seems to have the best price on them? I know the Canon G series has always been a good camera for quality, so I think it would be fun to play around with it... a little. ;D
