Hi everyone. I have a Canon A80 and would like to have a remote/cable trigger. I am aware of 2 options but I was hoping there are others.

1) Connect via USB to a laptop and use Canon software. The problem is I don't have a laptop and don't really have access to one.

2) Take apart the camera like this guy did.

I want to find (or make) a product that I can plug in to the USB connection and trigger the focus/shutter. Is anyone aware of other products or techniques?
