Hey guys,
My Mother in law has told us that she is taking us down to either Daytona Beach or Cocoa Beach Florida in Feburary, but need to give her my preference to which we would perfer to go.Can anyone give me some ideas as to what photo ops are around for each of the areas as thats how i usually make my vacation plans...

Feb 12, Discovery Launch
However, there always seem to be delays, so it may be mid march when they actually launch. The space center is a great photo op and history day trip.
St Augustine is a good day trip from Daytona or Cocoa. Orlando is another good day trip from Cocoa if you want to do a touristy day.

I second Waddy's St. Augustine trip idea. You seem to like lighthouses (judged from your portfolio) - don't miss the St. Augustine / Anastasia Island lighthouse. The Ponce Inlet light is not far away and has a great museum.
