Honestly, it does. I was commenting on some of the pictures in the macro side challenge and noticed that there was so much pixellation going on and what looked like an abundance of sharpening artefacts. I went and checked my own pics in my portfolio and they're just as bad. I checked the equivalent pics on my computer and they're nowhere near as bad.

I'm using my wireless broadband dongle (Vodafone) today, as I'm away from home and office, and it seems to be zipping along nice and quickly.

In conclusion, it must be that Vodafone is applying some kind of content compression to get the speed up. I just wondered if anyone else had ever noticed this.

Definitely sounds like a compression of data. Is your signal any weaker where you were using it? Either that or it is taking a while to load the data.Maybe it loads code quickly and not s much graphics?
