Does the DOF change based on the distance to subject?
For example, if I'm shooting a subject @ 2.8 from 5 feet and then I move back 10 feet, will the subject still have the same DOF?
Any other examples or tips would be great.

Here this is the calculations for you
Subject distance 5 ft
Depth of field
Near limit 4.85 ft
Far limit 5.16 ft
Total 0.32 ft
In front of subject 0.15 ft (48%)
Behind subject 0.16 ft (52%)
Subject distance 10 ft
Depth of field
Near limit 9.39 ft
Far limit 10.7 ft
Total 1.29 ft
In front of subject 0.61 ft (47%)
Behind subject 0.69 ft (53%)
