Currently what gets displayed with regards to scoring on a photo is a graph that displays the score value, a count of how many votes for each value.
A bit of number crunching but I wonder how difficult it would be to include for each score value; the average of votes they cast in the current challenge, the average of votes they cast in all challenges, the average number of votes they received in the current challenge, the average number of votes they received in all challenges.

I think it would provide a general profile of how people voted on an photo. For instance if you look at a photo that received 5 1's, and can see that those five voters as a group cast an average vote of 3.7 in the current challenge, cast an average 4.8 on all challenges, received an average vote of 4.5 on the current challenge, and 5.1 average overall.... it helps to explain the 5 1's without giving away any identities.

I may be reading more into it than what's really there, but at minimum it does seem like an interesting bit of trivia.

I'd also like to see a standard deviation for every average displayed, so to give the spread of the voting. Those love or hate shots would have large std. dev. while the boring pretty shots would have a low std.dev, because everyone gave them a 5.

I'd personnally like to have a slightly smaller score but with a very large standard deviation. This would mean that my image was more impactfull and it's more likely to be in people's favorites.

Than again, I'm just a nerd working on a minor in statistics.

I'll go you one better - I'd like to have an option to view photos ranked by the standard deviation of their scores. This could be called "rank by most controversial." I'm thinking that a lot of the lower scoring photos with lots of artistic merit will show up near the top of this category.

One complication: I'll bet that the open challenges have a higher standard deviation overall than the member challenges, so they would need to be normalized somehow or listed separately.
