The Brown Truck delivered my first 'grown up' tripod today ... I got a Manfrotto 190XPROB w/ 488RC2 Ball Head ... so far it seems really solid, I think I'm gonna be very happy with my purchase ... sure beats the $30 piece of crap I had been using ...

That should really help with your macro work. Congrats on the new tools.

thanks ... I'm pretty excited about it ... now I need to drag it out to the backyard and find a bug or something :)
