So, I have been offically "chosen" to shoot some photos for a family that lives next to me. The mom called saying she saw some of my work, and that she'd love to have me do it.
Im nervous, but excited. I dont have any lighting equipment, but im not sure thats an issue?
anyways, i just wanted to share the news with you guys, im kinda in a daze right now. |

awesome, congrats on the photoshoot, i think you'll find that you are more qualified than you think. my first photoshoot went that way, i was uber nervous, then time to shoot, and it went pretty well. The more you do, the better you get at it. Now my senior year, I'm doing 18 senior portraits, and i feel quite comfortable doing it. Hope yours go great.

Do you need lighting gear? Depends...on what you want to do and what they expect. Yeah, that's the one thing you have to do now - please other people with your photos instead of just yourself. No pressure...LOL
