I got bored and turned a few pictures from google and the canon website and some pics from google and turned them into icons.
They are in the ".icns" format and look great on my mac, which is running OSX 10.5.5. To change the icon of a folder or an application, just control-click the the folder and application and select the "get info" option. You will see the current icon at the top of the tab, next to its name. To change it, simply drag the new icns file onto the icon and it will change the icon.
Download them here if you want: //www.box.net/shared/9rp5qb57su
Here are the screenshots: |

Those will be neat to have. I hate using default icons. Thanks. |

I'm just curious if you have permission to use those photographs for any purpose? As a site whose members get bugged out(and usually rightfully so) about people using their photographs, I often wonder about this.

MattO, to be completely honest, I was worried out this myself.
For better or for worse I decided to do it. If someone has a problem I will take them down.
edit to fix grammar.

my problem here is that you didn't create Nikon D80, Nikkor 18-200mm VR, Canon G9/ G10 icons......
I mean I can't very well use [cough] Canon [cough] icons for my Nikon stuff now can I? Like matter and antimatter....
these are nicely done, btw
