		| | Hey everyone,
I've been planning on using MPIX for proof portfolio's for senior portraits. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a better, easier, cheaper way to do it.

 Thanks,
 Ryan

		| | Costco, Walmart, Walgreens, or in house.
I actually use exposuremanager for proofs and printing. But I also do alot in house which makes it quicker and easier to spot issues before waiting days to see them.

		| | Is this for pre-sale purposes or part of the sale items?
I haven't done printed proofs (pre-sale) in years. Sales tripled when I stopped doing it that way. Projection sales are the way to go - sell on emotion instead of letting them a)steal the images b)spend a week whittling down to the bare minimum.

I tend to shoot a lot and show a lot of images - there's no realistic way to do the old '8 image' folio like when I was in school - 20+ years ago, before digital...things have changed. You need to keep up too.

As for post-sale 'proof folios' I don't do that either. If they buy the image then thet get a web res version of it. If they want all 40 or 60 images they like (from the 80 to 100 I show them) then I have a product for that - a coffee table book for $300.

This is a pre-sale thing, I know they are already planning on getting graduation cards, so that is pretty much guaranteed. Thanks for the insight, i definitely see as it can be a deterrent for your sales.

I may look into removing that possibility. Thanks

		| | Millers is biggest lab (mpix is the consumer arm). In other pro labs you've got H&H Color, WHCC and Buckeye.

		| | I use WHCC for most of my print products. Haven't been disappointed yet.

		| | I ended up goin with MPIX, and it turned out fabulously, all i found was that my prices are too low. I loved how it turned out.
 Thanks for the help,
 Ryan
