So yesterday was my first day to quit and I made it to 10:00pm, then only smoked half. Man, that was harder than I thought. Everything was just plain irritating, I mean EVERYTHING! I cried like a baby too. I guess because I never get irritated with my husband and yesterday I couldn't figure out how I was going to handle living with him. LOL. Well, I suppose I should still be proud of just smoking 1. I'll try not to go in the other direction today. |

Hang in there, Cynthia - focus on the money saved and after one month of no smooking reward yourself with a new lens. ...or a trip to Hawaii or something. Money was the motivating factor for my wife and I back in '91.

Thanks, Ken.
Good idea!... I just reached in my pocket and took out a fiver for my last couple of days of torture (assuming I get through the night.) Seeing as I smoked more than a pack every couple of days, I should save up $75 by next month if I'm good. Should be good for a new lens by Christmas!
