Hi, i haven't done this before in a challenge, but think i will have to for the Grimm challenge....

Just to clarify... I only have one large flash... if I want to for example, stand infront of a house, can I set my camera up on a tripod, flash one half of the house, then flash the other, then snand onfront of the house and point the flash at me, can I combine those three pics in photoshop as three layers and erase through to show all the parts the flash hit in each shot?

Also, can the camera settings be different for each shot?..

Mainly, is it ok If I am in only 1 of the 3 pics?

Let me know, thanks

The rules are pretty clear here - combining multiple shots of the same scene but moving or adding objects is not allowed. If on the other hand you want to do the same thing but set the camera to long exposure, fire the flash on one half of the house, then the other, then with you in the scene as ONE exposure - that is allowed

You may not:
combine captures of different scenes, move or change a feature between frames, or combine different captures to create a new scene.

All JMO...suggest that you ask SC directly using the Help/Contact Us feature.

Flash diffent parts and combine - questionable, probably ok.
Camera settings different for each shot - ok.
Including yourself in only 1 of the 3 captures - this is the one that would probably get the entry dq'd if asked.
