I've searched around and haven't turned anything up on this. Does anyone know if it is possible to tell lightroom to NOT yank you away from the image you are editing and display the tiff you just exported to photoshop? This is the most irritating thing, especially when you export a shot to PS and then move on to some image buried among hundreds of others only to have to find it again when the export completes.

I'm not a lightroom guru by any means, but I'm pretty sure that down at the bottom of the export dialog box you have the option to "do nothing" after export. I'm not sure if that will solve your problem or not, but it's worth a shot.

f_h has got that spot on. I discovered this myself last night having been irritated for months by just the scenario you describe!

Hmm, so I see that Do Nothing option is already set when I choose Export from the menu. But I usually just choose Edit in Photoshop from the menu - any ideas for stopping this behavior when using that?
