Hi friends,

I'm shooting a wedding in October, and the couple wants a wedding sign-in board. Where do you all get your wedding sign-in boards, and how much are they? What is a standard size? I've seen the photo as a 5x7, an 8x10 and an 11x14. Do you mat the photo yourself to the sign board? Please advise on any helpful hints for this!

Thanks,
Arie

I sell frames and my frame supplier sell them. They call it a 'signature frame'. It has space for an 11x14 print and says 'our wedding' under it in eitehr gold or silver. One can of course get any size cutout. I think I saw TAP or someone offerd something similar in 2 sizes - depends on how many guests how much matte space you want.

I give them an engagement photo in there for the reception and then a wedding print of their choice for later. I also bring an easel and take it all away when I leave at the end of the night. Some hotels will charge for providing an easel.

I dont have a photo of it, but one that I have used in the past is one you can purchase at Michaels art store. Put an engagement photo into it, and then display it at the wedding and reception, take it home afterwards and put a wedding print in it. I'm sure Prof has more experience then me, and I'm sure there are fancier ones out there. But its a nice wood frame and easy enough to do.

Matt

ETA a quick search found many styles here.

and here. There are many more but just google Wedding Signature frames and lots of ideas will come up. I have one in November that I am getting ready to go pickout in the next week or so.

Thank you so much! I'll share these with the couple to see which they prefer :)
Prof Fate, do you have yours online and how much are they? How much for shipping too?
