ok i am the no. 1 cuplrit for this. i cannot seem to get the right
size.
i have mg photo suite. i save the pic and its say 235kb then if i open
the same pic in paint its only 24kb??
so my pics are always too small, cos i keep submitting them till its
accepted.

Click Image then
Resize -Select custom and change longest size to 640 and shortest to 480
Click File and
Click save as (remember to rename so not to copy over the original)
Select Jpeg
On Image quality bar move left or right until the image is under the 150kb (Might have to save a couple of times to get it correct. You don't know the size of the save until you reopen.)



was resized using MGI Photosuite 8.0 that came with my camera.

Note: Don't use the "Convert to Web Format" seems to make it good for emailing a small shot but not recommending for submitting to challenges.

There is a difference between file size and image dimensions, yes? I believe that may be the problem you are having. I noticed many cases of both small dimensions and low quality in the challenge I just looked at. There were many photos that are unfortunately not going to get the credit they deserve.
