Just wondering. I like Lightroom, have the trial version, almost expired. Buying from Adobe (my preferred option) seems impossible. Site is always down between 7Pm and 12PM (GMT+2) or in the weekend. I managed to get there sometimes on other times. The US price seems to be $299 (not sure if it's the box or download version). Dutch site (same version): $434 for the box version, $441 for the download version. (Yes, that's no type mistake). Don't know yet if there's any shipping cost.

Does anyone has some advice or experience?

I logged in saturday afternoon, had no problems purchasing the english version of LR2 for $299. That is a download (wasn't bad.)

for every product in europe the price are always higher that in USA(I think that in USA there isn't the +20% tax on the sales). the update version (italian web site) 478 Euro(399+20%IVA). full version 1488 Euro considering that today 1Euro=1.47 USA$ probably is convenient buy the download version on the USA web site(if is allowed)

OOOOPPPSSSS these are the prices for photoshop CS4 ... these the prices for lightroom
# € 118,80

# full version € 298,80

Not sure. The site hasn't been up long enough for me to figure that out, but thanks anyway.

for locking the buy from other country they probably testing your ip. probably using an anonymizer (i.e. a proxy on internet) you could save some Euro :)

I'll give a try when the site is up. Thanks for the tip ($135 seems to be worth trying something)
