Tuscany, eh? I was in Tuscany in May.

I look forward to the rest. I didn't get to Florence. Stuck more to the countryside.

Great photos, Nick! I was in Florence in 1988. Beautiful place. ...but I wish they would update their buildings and such - some of those places look like they could be hundreds of years old! And people chide me for my 70's shag carpet - sheesh! :P

All these pictures are terrific.

I lived in Florence for a year more than 30 years ago, and for 4 months about 18 months ago. Here are my Florence Photos. It is a treat to stay someplace long enough to develope a feel for it, to go back and shoot the same subjects in different weather and light, and to internalize some of what you experience.

I hope you enjoy these and would appreciate any comments or critiques.

Dr.Confuser last year when he was there teaching (thanks Chuck). Hope to see more of your visit.
