I wonder... Is there a way to do this?

And when printing directly from LR for proofing is there any way you can control where the filename (usualy the photo number) will apear?

Thank's in advance

There are many, many ways to do this.

You can watermark using different methods, depending on if you're talking about exporting vs. printing. For exporting, I use the LR/Mogrify plugin. Sounds like you care mainly about printing, though.

I don't do a lot of printing direct from LR, so I'll defer to some existing knowledge on the topic... From what I've seen, the most flexible method is using the identity plate.

Check out the links below for some pointers... Some of these might be for LR1, so watch for differences if you're using LR2 -- the printing module changed a bit in LR2.

Matt's LR Killer Tips video on watermarking - he talks about the slideshow module, but the method is very similar for printing.

A more direct watermarking function across all the modules has been on the feature-request list for a long time (along with soft-proofing, another feature I can't believe they haven't implemented yet) -- hopefully it will be there for 2.2 (doesn't look like it'll make the cut for 2.1 either).

Tank you.

The watermark is mainly for web proofin, not for printing.

Any other ideas are wellcome.

So are you using the print module, or just exporting from the library module? If you are exporting, I'd definitely recommend using a plugin like LR/Mogrify -- it's easy as pie once you set it up, incredibly flexible and the results and fantastic.
