Hey everyone,
I have been working on getting my site up and functional for the past month or so. My biggest problem to date, is figuring out how to allow people to order prints online (either via paypal or credit card maybe) without having to email me and tell me the prints they want.
Somehow I want them to punch in what prints they want and then pay for it without having to mail me an order form. What ways do ya'll do this on your sites?
Thanks,
Ryan

I just went with the easy route and set up my site through Smugmug. (www.ebjonesphotography.com)
Are you looking for something to integrate into a site you have built? Will you be doing the printing, or are you looking for a lab to print and ship the images? If it's the latter, check out //www.photosecrets.com/links.photostorefront.html for a list of online storefronts.
The site looks great, by the way!

Exposure Manager and they handle all the ordering and printing, and let me know. They also take alot less of the total price then most places. They send me a check at the end of the month.

Hi I use smugmug they can by prints through them..... but also on my site I have installed google checkout code
Once you go to google checkout code and sign up..... they take care of all the processing if ordered by credit card or whatever then you get an email saying someone brought something and you can then I believe you can leave the money their or have it transferred directly to your bank account.
So basically google checkout will have a section in their website where you will have to type info for each print and then they will supply you with code and then go to your website where you will have your prints and you will have to paste in this code and then a google checkout buy it now button will appear
Also by going by this way (using google checkout) you will have to get the prints they ordered printed......if you use a site similar to smugmug they will take care of the printing and credit card processing

I'm looking for one that I can use on my site that I already have: //www.ryandunnewold.com so I'm looking at Mal's e-commerce here. I'm about to try it out, we'll have to see how it works.
eta: I'll be using MPIX for my prints, I've been quite impressed with their print quality.
