Folks,

I finally received my first DSLR yesterday... I have shot hundreds of frames since:-)

My question is about its continuous shooting (burst) mode.

I noticed that if I choose the RAW format to save images on the camera, then all burst frames are saved in a single file, BUT that file is named .mov (like a movie file).

However, none of the movie viewer software I have recognise this format after download: Windows movie maker, media player, QuickTime, RealPlayer etc. Not even Canon's kit software: Digital Photo Professional can read it.

I then renamed it .raw file, and Picasa2 would show it briefly, but all in red channel... telling me that it assumed the starting buffer was only red channel data.

Canon's manual also doesnt say anything about the .mov format.

Anyone else ever had this issue?
